Ms. Melano is a CPM candidate with over 14 years of concentrated experience managing large multi-family assets, retail, and office properties. Prior to her affiliation with The REMM Group, she was Branch Manager of a leading private investment firm that managed high-quality residential and commercial assets. She was responsible for management of operations, negotiations, human resources, facilities management and overall profitability of the Northern California portfolio.

In her position as Branch Officer, she played a leading role in analyzing investment project needs and initiating desired building rehabilitation projects via construction oversight, contract negotiation, controlling costs, and working closely with owners and investors to maximize revenue enhancement opportunities. Her team's commitment to long-range planning and maximizing productivity created the top-performing branch over a ten-year period.

Ms. Melano is a licensed Real Estate Salesperson in California, an active member of the Institute of Real Estate Management, and has assumed a leading role in the Sacramento Valley Apartment Association. Jan graduated with honors from Chapman University, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree and majoring in Psychology. She is continuing her education in pursuit of a Master of Arts degree.
