Mr. Tanaka is a Certified Property Manager with 18 years experience in the management of commercial and residential real estate. He holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles, and an M.B.A. from their Graduate School of Management with a concentration in real estate and urban land economics.

Prior to joining The REMM Group, Mr. Tanaka was Vice President of August Management, Inc., an affiliate of the Glendale Federal (Glen Fed) family of companies. During his tenure with August, he was responsible for a portfolio of 25 properties including shopping centers and 4,000 apartment units. Additional experience includes the position of Vice President, National Investment Development Corporation; Housing Resources Management, Inc.; and Assistant Vice President with American Development Corporation and Sabina Realty Corporation. In the early 1970's, Mr. Tanaka was employed with the second largest developer of high-rise office space in Los Angeles' Mid-Wilshire area assisting in the marketing, leasing and management of their properties.

Mr. Tanaka is a licensed California real estate broker and a member of the Association of HUD Management Agents.
